Mr. Kallas is chairman of Kallas Incorporações e Construções and KAM. He serves as head of the KAM Investment Committee and Board of Directors. He has 45 years of experience in the development and construction of residential and commercial buildings in the Brazilian real estate market. Under his watch, Kallas SA has delivered over 20,000 units on 7.5 million square meters and served over 70,000 families. Mr. Kallas obtained his B.Sc., M.S., and Ph.D. in Urban and Civil Engineering from Escola Politécnica. For over 20 years, Mr. Kallas has been a visiting professor in Civil Engineering at the Civil Engineering School in Escola Politécnica – USP. Mr. Kallas is also Vice-President of Development and Urban Lots at SECOVI-SP (The Real Estate & Housing Company Union of the City of São Paulo).
Mr. Kallas guides the Strategic Direction of KAM. He has over 14 years of real estate development and construction experience as COO of Kallas Incorporações e Construções S.A. At Kallas S.A, he manages all development, engineering, acquisitions and product launches. He is also chairman of Kallas Sales, the brokerage arm of Kallas S.A and Kazzas, the affordable income arm. Under his watch, Kallas SA has produced annual average returns well over 20%. He is a graduate of Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering. He earned his M.S. in Business Economics from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, and his M.B.A from Yale University.
Mr. Wilkens is Managing Director of Global Relationships and International Deal Flow. He has 17 years of experience in institutional risk management and sales. Prior to Kallas, he was a fixed income trader at Goldman Sachs, where he managed a multi-billion dollar balance sheet in short term interest rates. He also co-founded Vine Street, an investment management firm and Blue Ivy Ventures; an alumni venture capital firm that support's Yale University and their entrepreneurial community. He is a Series 3, 7 & 63 license holder with FINRA and has a B.A in Political Science and Business Administration from the University of Arizona and an M.B.A from Yale University.
Mr. Grossmann is a Director of Portfolio Management for KAM. He has 7 years of experience in Real Estate portfolio management, and private equity. Prior to Kallas, he was responsible for the proprietary Real Estate Assets of BTG Pactual, where he managed a balance sheet over $1B. The principals assets under his management was the Emiliano Hotel in Rio de Janeiro (R$ 200mm Equity deal), the Beira Rio Stadium in Porto Alegre (R$ 300mm Equity deal with Andrade Gutierrez) and three Real Estate Funds (R$ 2.1 B Invested in Real Estate Assets with LP´s like CPPIB, PSP). He is a graduate of Instituto Mauá de Tecnologia with a B.Sc in Mecatronic Engineering. He earned his M.S in finance from INSPER and passed the CFA level I.
Ms. Tau is Director of Project Management. She co-manages the unit with Tatiana Isikawa. Ms. Tau has 8 years of real estate experience. Her responsibilities include product development, sales tracking, viability studies, architectural oversight and project approvals. Ms. Tau specializes in the study and research of the property market and is primarily responsible for developing product sales tracking and ensuring the viability of each project. She recently led the development of a new shopping center and a hotel in Pindamonhangaba, Brazil. At Kallas, she has launched more than 3,000 residential and commercial units. Ms. Tau graduated from Mackenzie University with a B.Arch. in Architecture and Urbanism. She received her M.S in Management of Real Estate Business from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.
Ms. Isikawa is Director of Project Management. She co-manages the unit with Andressa Tau. She has 8 years of real estate experience. Her responsibilities include product development, sales tracking, viability studies, and architectural oversight. She led the development and construction of Marriott Porto Maravilha in Rio de Janeiro. At Kallas, she has launched more than 3,000 residential and commercial units. She is a graduate of Mackenzie University with a B.Arch. in Architecture and Urbanism. She received her M.S. in Management of Real Estate Business from Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing.
Ms. Yoshimura is a Vice President in Acquisitions. She has 6 years of real estate experience. She works closely with project managers to identify new development prospects and conducts intensive due diligence on their viability. She specializes in navigating government regulations and has helped launch more than 2,000 residential units. Her knowledge of the applicable rules and regulations has been key in connection with a number of land acquisitions. She holds a B.Arch. in Architecture and Urbanism from the University Center Fine Arts in São Paulo.
Ms. Manoel is an Associate in Project Management. She coordinates the initial stages of project development, approvals and coordination of residential, corporate and industrial projects. She also specializes in affordable housing and has participated in more than 80,000 m2 of built area. Ms. Manoel has her B.Arch in Architecture and Urbanism from Mackenzie University and a M.S in project management and construction from the University of São Paulo.
Mr. Tacla is a Vice President in Acquisitions. He has 12 years of Real Estate experience and spent the last two responsible for operations in the interior of São Paulo of LPS Brazil, a leading market intermediary. At KAM, Mr. Tacla is responsible for the identification and acquisition of land opportunities, conducting financial feasibility analyzes, management of technical and legal diligence. He received his B.A in Business Administration from Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in São Paulo.
